1st review of this beer on BA. Still weird they give you karma points for being the first to add a beer, but nothing for the first to review it. Purchased a single in Reno.
Anyways, another football tailgate, October 2019. Has the golden BMC look but without the higher grade of clarity they have. 1/3" white head. Aroma was largely missing the lager yeast I tend to prefer to be a little skunky, sulphury and pungent. It was a bit of grain, lemon, not much else.
Taste, you know the expression, lawnmower beer. Thing is, you can get all kinds of lawnmower lagers for around $1 a piece, or you can pay more for this. It does nothing wrong, but also doesn't rise beyond the average realm much either. But when you get a Lead Dog beer, just be thankful it isn't chock full of lactose, that is their jam. At 10ibu, this barely comes across, but it is what they're going for. They're easy enough to drink with no off flavors or sugary lactose coating.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
