My first try of this Charlotte brewery.Pours from the growler into a snifter an oil slick black with a thin deep beige head that is gone in a flash.Aromas are very fall-ish,cinnamon and clove really stand out,mild roast comes thru as well.More cinnamon and clove come thru on the palate along with sweet vanilla,the pepper spice comes thru lightly in the finish.If someone told you this was a pumpkin pie spiced stout with chili you would believe it,it's rich and coating,I like it.
