My favorite style of beer. Dark color for an Irish Red. Strong flavor, with a touch of smoke that I would expect more from a Scottish ale, but very malty with little bitterness. A good, bold Irish red. I’d take another crowler of it, but since it is 6 horsepower (% ABV), I’d better stick to two if I want to remember the evening! Well done, Moose Lake!

Pours a darker red color. 1 finger white head, with decent retention.
The nose is slightly malty.
Taste is a malty slightly sweet. Slight hop on the backside.
The body is moderate, and there's a carbonation feel.
A good beer overall.
