Look - pint can purchased at the brewery. light ruby pink, reminiscent of grapefruit but slightly darker. large head that mostly dissipates, leaving behind little lacing.
Smell - slightly acidic, with pomegranate and raspberries standing out. actually smells like a kettle sour. fruit flavor highly detectable.
Taste - tastes like a kettle sour, through and through. moderate tartness, accompanied by fruit juice and a nice malty finish. virtually no bitterness.
Feel - medium bodied, moderately high carbonation, and moderate in ABV at 6%. As with most sours, alcohol is well masked.
Overall - the can was marked as farmhouse ale, but this for all practical purposes is a sour, and a reasonably tart one at that. delightfully juicy, highly drinkable, and quite a tasty summer treat.
