On-draught @ the brewery.
Caramel malts, 2-row, caraMunich, traces of rye's signature spiciness, hints of toasted brown bread crust. Moderately sweet, emphasizing malts, but I did hope for more rye in a Roggenbier.
No detectable hop flavour. No off-flavours.
Simple and shallow for Roggenbier, with ill enough commitment to the titular malt to be considered a good expression of the uncommon style. Undercarbonated, a little thin, unrefreshing.
Drinkable yet forgettable.
