Canned 12/20/22 (2 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5-10% clarity) medium to light and pale golden color with a massive white head. SRM of 7. (4.25)
Aroma: Moderate to strong aromas of lemon and orange citrus, citrus rind, some hints of citrus flower and spritz. Mild sweetness. (4.00)
Flavor: Moderate flavors of orange and lemon citrus, some citrus rind before a smooth breaded and oat malt body. Balanced and smooth. Soft, yet clean. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied, strong carbonation. Soft, smooth on the mouthfeel. (4.25)
Compared to Eagel Park DDH Demon haze 2/2023: Pours lighter, larger head. Milder aromas. More citrus rind and spritz. Less sweet and juicy peach and strawberry. Similar body, but dryer and not as rich.
Overall: A deent NEIPA here. I had previously tried their original Citra on the Dock of the Bay and was unimpressed by the flavor. Similarly there isn't a whole lot of flavor here, but it seems they have improved on the malt body. This one has mor of a soft and smooth mouthfeel that makes up for the milder flavors. Leans a little more toward their Arabella, but still not as good. This one is smooth and drinkable though. (Rating: 4.09)

Poured into a snifter. An opaque acorn-yellow color with a thick white head. Great lacing in the glass. The aroma was sweet oranges and tangerines along with subtle bready malt. The taste followed. Lots of citrus with oranges and a bit of lime. Bitterness was medium and lingered a bit on the finish. Slightly sweet probably from the ABV. Medium bodied with a soft feel. Slightly hot on the finish but nice for a big NEIPA.
