22 oz bottle from Trader Joes.
Pours with a large white head over an amber body. The head has good retention and leaves sticky lacing on the glass.
Dank and fruity hop aromas.
Flavor: pineapple, strawberry and other berry flavors. Moderate bitterness.
Lively carbonation in a near medium body.

I'm generally opposed to the bomber format given the higher price per oz, but this was tough to pass on when I saw it for $2.99 USD at a Trader Joe's in Chicago, IL.
Served cold into a tulip.
Aroma hints at overdone booze and too much sweetness.
Taste is imbalanced and the emphasis isn't on hops...obviously it's poorly executed given it's intended to be an IPA. The pineapple comes off boozy and has a raw sweetness to it, having failed to integrate well into the build as a whole.
Texture is smooth, wet, medium-bodied, and well-carbonated.
Overall, it's decent I guess. Not a great IPA, but it's okay as a fruited ale. I certainly wouldn't buy it again.

Picked this up at Trader Joe's in Oakland while visiting my sister and her husband. Pineapple s detectable in the nose, at least. Not a ton of flavor but balanced and drinkable. Not bad for a cheap bomber at TJ's.

Type: 22-oz. bottle
Glass: Clear 14.75-oz. porter/stout tulip
From: Trader Joe’s in Mira Mesa Calif.
Price: $3.49
Purchased: June 5, 2017
Consumed: June 14, 2017
Reviewed as: American IPA
Misc.: No bottled on date
Picked this up on a recent trip to the Mira Mesa Trader Joe’s. Had a coffee kolsch from Campanology a few months back and really liked it (3.94). This one sounded intriguing in that it was a pineapple IPA, but not a lot of hope going in.
Poured a straw-to-pale clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent layered lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled straight pineapple from the jump. Also peach, nectarine, apricot, floral, guava, perfume and hints of buttered bread. Could not pick out any specific hop. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste wasn’t nearly as good as the nose. Pineapple still leading the way, but buttery notes kind of throwing it off. Also coconut, peach, nectarine, guava, perfume, bitter tangerine rind and citrus pulp. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt dry finish. (Feel - 3.25)
This was about as good as I thought it would be. Excellent presentation and very good smell, but dropped off after that. (Overall - 3.50)

Bomber bottle purchased at the local Trader Joe's
12517 printed on the neck of the bottle....best before date? (I hate it when they stamp stuff on bottles...that nobody can figure out)
Pours lightly cloudy, typical Amber, moderate fluffy froth, leaving decent ringed lacing.
Grapefruit loaded sniff
More grapefruit on the palate, sort of a mushy kinda feel in the mouth...IE it's does not have a crisp feel to it. More soft ripe fruits and a smattering of drying hops in the finish....decent...everyday kinda IPA...Quite a value at $3.79 for the bomber...I like value, so I like this beer...go get some
