Pours a hazy purple pink. A finger of fizzy pink head fades as soon as it forms.

Smell is tart and wheaty. Taste follows, lemon and tangy wheat. There is some generic berry sweetness that I am unable to place as specifically blackberry. A bit sour, but not as puckering as most Berliners I've tried.

Ample, spritzy carbonation takes the edge off of the sour. Light bodied and refreshing at 4.5% abv.

It's ok overall, but I wish there was more berry to cut through the tangy lemon flavor.

22 oz bottle. Pours dark pink with long-lived, foamy white head and lively carbonation. Nose is of noble hops, wheat malt and some red fruit. Body is medium and tangy. Taste is very sour, tart, lemon zest, red fruit, hint of hops and wheat malt. Finish is long and sour. Very nice brew.

Misc.: No bottled on date

Have generally liked each of the four beers I’ve had from Campanology, giving Adventurous Stranger a 3.94 in April 2017, Tintinnabulation a 3.64 in June 2017, Every Time Buche De Noel Stout a 4.22 in Dec. 2017 and Caco-Phony a 3.70 in Oct. 2018. This one was labeled as Berliner Weisse style ale with blackberry added.

Poured a medium amber-to-copper hazy color with two fingers of off-white frothy head. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good uneven lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight -

Smelled blackberry, mixed berry, grass, wheat, raspberry, tart, citrus zest, a touch of salt and kind of a boozy grainy smell. (Smell - 3.75)

Taste was more of the same, but not nearly as good. Got blackberry, purple grape, mixed berry, plum, raspberry, grass, wheat, acidic tart and salty notes. (Taste - 3.25)

Light body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Acidic finish. (Feel - 3.25)

This was an OK offering from Campanology, but easy the worst of the bunch I’ve had so far. No need to have this again. (Overall - 3.25)

Most of a bomber into a straight pint. Pours a muddy pink-purple, with abundant, incredibly pale pink foam. Dissipates quickly, mild crown and minimal lacing.

Smell is fruit and light malt - can't detect any blackberry.

Instant sour hit on sipping, minimal detectable bitterness and a distinct, but brief, wheat note. Wonderfully clean mouthfeel. Aftertaste gives the impression of blackberry, but otherwise, it just doesn't come through very well.

On warming and as the carbonation dissipates, the wheat comes through more robustly and is more apparent in the aftertaste, and the sourness softens somewhat and displays more blackberry notes.

Overall, decent style example but underwhelming.
