Opaque yellow with two finger head. Moderate but soft pine with herb and citrus. Some popcorn. Flavor is grassy. Starts sweet with a somewhat better finish.

Umm, well, it’s something. Ya know? Like when Picasso first did his thing, yeah, that was something. First and foremost, it pours like a normal hazy - like a crushed up banana. Aroma, wow! Nice and fairly pungent. Raul is Cialis excited... Taste, well, I wouldn’t call it bad, but like the Punky Brewster chick in the back of your astronomy class that chewed on her pencil, it’s kind of weird. Don’t get me wrong, Punky was kind of hot, but she’s still Punky. Ya know? And with this beer? Wow, I am at a loss. I don’t hate it. I don’t like it, I just... well, that’s about it. I “just.”

Pours a murky yellow/gold with medium carbonation. Aroma is of fruity hops. Taste is much the same, not much malt to speak of but beer is balanced and enjoyable.

Pours (from can) beautiful hazy golden yellow with fluffy white foam, but with multiple bits of white floating remanent pieces on the bottom!

Notes of strong lemon citrus hops and simple hop flavor.

Trader Joe value special.

Very turbid pale gold with three fingers of cream color head. Spots of lace appear as the head drops.
Smells a bit dank some sweet malts.
Taste is some dankness floral hops and sweet bready malts.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Finish is medium dry and pretty well balanced.
Overall tastes what I expect a NEIPA would be like. Canned on 06/05/19.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, pale, light-yellow color with an orange hue. Like orange-pineapple juice. It has tons of visible, giant white sediument in the glass. Looks like a snowglobe. It's more than pulpy. There is a flat, white head. SRM of 8. (4.00)

Aroma: Aromas of pineapple, peach, orange, some mango. Similar, but less strength than most hazy IPAs (3.50)

Flavor: Flavors follow the nose and I can feel the sediment and particles on the tongue. There is pineapple, peach, and orange, and lemon. No bitterness, but lighter bodied and only a trace of sweetness on the finish. (3.75)

Feel: Lighter-bodied and crisp. Not creamy, not bitter. Almost drinks more like a lager and very light. No astringency. (3.50)

Overall: An interesting, unfiltered, hazy IPA. Flavor mimics some of the more popular hazy IPAs, but there is less strength and a more crisp, lager-like body. It has the right flavors, but attenuated in body and flavor represent the appropriate price at Trader Joe's. It's your poor man's hazy, unfiltered IPA, and that's not a bad thing. After these expensive dry-hopped hazy craze is over, this is the type of fruity and juicy IPA that might stand the test of time. (Final Rating 3.68)

12 fl oz can nabbed at Trader Joe's for $1.50 USD. 60s-70s psychedelic label art. Pull-tab top.

6.3% ABV. "Hazy India Pale Ale."

Brief flavour duration. Underwhelming albeit pleasant hop profile. Very no-frills for a turbid IPA - but then, it's $1.50 a can. I do like it for what it is, but it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of depth of flavour and hop pungency.

Enjoyable and drinkable, but not a top tier IPA even giving it slack for its commitment to the Johnny-Come-Lately "hazy" substyle fad.

Picked up a few cans from Trader Joe's in Bloomington, MN.
This beer is a goddamn paragon - appears light orange, incredibly hazy, could certainly mistake it for OJ. Head is is thick and creamy, but recedes eventually. Persistent lacing.
Smell is sweet and biscuity, citrusy, spicy, and grapefruit all on the nose. No hint of booze, which makes sense seeing as this beer clocks in at a modest 6.3% ABV.
Taste almost perfectly mirrors what I expected from the smell. I do have to note, it isn't as heavy as I thought it'd be, this is actually very crushable.
Mouthfeel is smooth, not quite crisp, but I suppose that's not something you'd expect from this style.
In conclusion I think this beer is a PARAGON of the hazy, juicy IPA style, it hit all the marks, I couldn't be happier with it. I expect I'll be drinking this again soon.

Trader Joe’s is known for having pretty solid, extremely affordable, contract-brewed beer under a few different labels. Campanology is one of them.

I tried this new release as a single and liked it so much I returned for a six-pack a few days later.

L: nice white head with a solid finger of white foam that held decently. Coloring is extremely similar to SN’s Hazy Little Thing. Not an NE IPA juicebomb.

S: tropical fruit on the nose.

T: good complexity for beer on a budget. Decent balance.

F: not too much residual sweetness and a nice, dry bitterness to finish.

O: priced $7.99 at the North Dallas Trader Joe’s, this is the best value IPA in the store. A good beer, and up there with Trader Joe’s best.
