I had a suspicion about this from the can. (Buyer Beware!) But I believe every brewer needs a chance. So, I bought The Heff.
For starts, this is not a hefe-. If it deserves a classification, it is an American Wheat. (But, I make no fuss... best to let this recipe die in the marketplace.). There is absolutely no foam after 20 seconds from a hard pour... and it Looks like a common liquid from one's mid-section. I Smell neither hops nor fruit... so what am I drinking? Tastes follows, unfortunately. Call this a malt beverage without flavors that is exceedingly thin. Either I got a bad can, or this is not ready for market. I drank an ounce or so; I should not have drank more than a sip.
I give every new brewer a micro-review. But I keep this even shorter because there is no website on the brewer's BA page. I give some OA points for this being a family-owned brewery. I suggest they stick to IPAs. The hefe's yeast is too subtle for them to keep well enough for The Heff to be recognizable as a Hefeweizen. Sorry.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
