Thanks to jperry for this 22 oz. bottle, consumed while watching the eminently disturbing film “Concussion”. Glad my Vikings don’t play tomorrow.
Black. Not much on the nose. Chocolate sweetness.
Goshawk’s Territory is one of the few beers where there’s a review right on the bottle: cocoa, almonds, coffee. In that order, plus a healthy dose of malt sweetness, that’s exactly what I taste. Thick. Zero alcohol heat which doesn’t seem right.
Straightforward big stout with a killer mouthfeel. Very good brew.

650 mL bottle. Inky black. Smells of fudgy chocolate and vanilla. Deep molasses. Tastes very sweet. Vanilla and chocolate. Malt sweetness. Very heavy. Very sweet. But still tasty in small quantities.
