Poured into a pint glass. A bit long in the tooth as it was canned 9 weeks ago. A moderately hazy pale straw color with a medium sized white head. The foam retreated quickly but a persistent cap lingered. Aromas of pineapple, coconut, and tropical fruit. They were a bit subdued but nice for a 9 week old IPA. The taste followed. Tropical notes with a medium bitterness blanketed with a light dose of sweet coconut. Some earthy notes as well. Medium bodied with a soft feel. Enjoyable and recommended> Would love to try this one fresh.

16oz can dated 11/30/18.
Pours cloudy yellow with a fluffy head of white. Retention is moderate with some nice lacing. Tropical citrus in the nose with some faint coconut. Grapefruit, peach, pear, and tangerine. On the light side of medium bodied with a crisp but soft mouthfeel. Juicy citrus with mild coconut on the palate. Finishes with zero malt, minimal bitterness, and lingering citrus.
With the coconut addition the beer reminds me of a milkshake IPA.

Hazy and opaque but bright, light lemon yellow body. Head production is solid, and retention is excellent.
Aroma is sharply hop-forward, with citrus peel, bright herbs, white pepper, and fruitier tones well in the background.
Flavor is much fruitier than the nose, with pineapple, coconut, peach, orange, mango, and lemon. Modest dank tones, primarily in the second half. Coconut and vanilla start to come on strong after the first third, but never quite feel gimmicky.
Very smooth and drinkable; quite lively.

Wow I thought this was innovatively fun to drink. The triple dry hopping made the body super fluffy, creamy and smooth, a natural fit for the toasted coconut. Taste actually maintained decent hoppiness despite sweetness from coconut, orange, passionfruit, melon, mango and pineapple. This was after the smell was not super deep, with coconut and citrus hops. Sneaky frothy in the pour with the haze. Really enjoyed

16 oz. can dated 11/30/18. Sadly, was not refrigerated at retailers. We'll see if that matters. Poured into Behind the Veil glass.
L: Hazy golden orange with a 2F long-lasting head, leaving lots of lacing and a cap and ring.
S: I'm thinking we've got some hop fading. The earthiness of the Simcoe is there, along with a bit of the passionfruit and other tropical array of the Mosaic, but it's not strong. I was told coconut is the first scent to go in beer and that appears to be the case here - it's really hard to pick out in the nose. What is left is good.
T: I let it warm in hope more would come out. It helps. Passionfruit and mango first, with nice light malts and then you do pick up the coconut, which lingers through an earthy finish. It's nice.
F: Light to moderate body, moderate carbonation, construction and balance are good. About medium drying, which seems right.
O: We don't see Horus around here very often, so this was a nice get.

As per the brewery... "Triple Dry Hopped IPA with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops with Toasted Coconut added"
Poured from a tallboy can into a Dogfish Head tulip.
L: Hazed out light golden pour with thick foamy white head. Outstanding lacing.
S: Tropical fruits and coconut. Juicy and fresh.
T.F: Tropical fruit hop profile.. light citrus.. heavier on the pineapple and mango. Toasted coconut really comes through and compliments the hops. Not quite a pina colada but similar flavors playing together. Sticky on the tongue... medium bodied.
O: A really nice NEIPA and the added coconut works great for this beer. Really glad I got a chance to try this one.
