This Massive Imperial Stout is the longest I have ever boiled one of my own beers at fifteen hours. It has a grain bill comprised of Maris Otter, several different Crystal malts, and a plethora of sugars. The beer had an Original Gravity of 44 Plato. After spending 15 months mellowing out in French Oak barrels, I gave it the “Grasp” treatment of Geisha coffee and hazelnuts.
