Horus Aged Ales

Pitch black body, brown ring. Smells strongly of rye and dark chocolate with char, earth, dark oak, and a hint of smoke. Taste has big chocolate and cocoa both distinctly present, hint of vanilla, all meeting the large rye barrel with charred and earthy accents. The feel isn’t as rustic as it smells and tastes, more thick, smooth, malts with warming alcohol, but I wouldn’t call it boozy. Lush would be more apropos. Campfire sipper
