Blended Stout aged in Old Rip Van Winkle 10-year bourbon barrels with Stout aged in Elijah Craig 24-year bourbon barrels. Wrapped with additions of Alor Island Indonesian vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, Vermont maple syrup, and wild Thai banana.

look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.5
Look - Pour a black color with a very light head that disappears within a few seconds.

Smell - Maple syrup, malt, and bourbon. Smell is a bit underwhelming to me.

Taste - There's a lot more going on in the taste than the smell. Maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, malt, and bourbon. Not much banana, but that's good because I don't really care for banana.

Feel - LIke all Horus ales, this has a rather nice mouthfeel, and it's very easy drinking at 12.5%ABV.

Overall - A very good stout, though below average for Horus in my opinion.
