A mildly hazy yellow with a thin white head. Nose is tart, grainy, rustic, mildly spicy with pepper and clove, a little honey sweetness. Not as grainy as some of the better grisettes. Tartness obfuscate the yeast expression. The palate opens sour with a blend of lactic and mild white wine note. Green grape tannins. Grain, honey, mildly sweet and spicy. A touch of funk. Drying, mildly watery finish. Quote nice.
