A: crystal clear; deep gold in color; with a fairly aggressive pour, less than a one finger ivory head that receded to a splotchy cap; little lacing;

S: orange and pineapple;

T: first sip finished kind of soapy; after that, it followed the nose through the finish; somewhat sweet all the way through;

M: medium to full bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish; boozy;

O: not something I would choose again;

Nice golden color, the taste is hoppy but not overpowering. No citrus notes. Will go good with a variety of food. A good starter for the afternoon or evening.

pours an intensely dark and clear amber gold body with an off-white-near-khaki froth head that has moderately low retention and leaves occasional patches of thin sticky sudsy lacing as it settles to a thin halo

aroma is thick caramel pine resin that is super sweet with a little heat and a whiff of earthy bitterness

taste is super sweet and thick, like syrup infused with hop resin. it's sticky and malty with no real bitterness to it, though it does have a dash of heat that really peppers the finish. there is a near-melon note fizzing in and out during the middle as well.

mouthfeel is moderate pillow-like carbonation and medium-thick body with a dry finish peppered with booze heat and a super sweet and resinous aftertaste

overall:
this one is too sweet for my personal taste, honestly. it looks beautiful and it's certainly hoppy, but it's been neutered of any bitterness which has resulted in a medicinally sweet syrup infused with pine hop resin. it's smooth, but so is syrup, ya know? and I'm just not here for that whole trip
