Poured into a tulip glass. It has a bright, hazy yellow color with a large white head. It has a nice bitter hop taste with a tropical citrus background. A nice NEIPA.

Canned September, 2022. Pours a cloudy yellow with a finger of dense white head. Aroma is pleasant, but slightly unremarkable. Subtle grapefruit and miscellaneous citrus notes are present up close, but muted from even a few inches away.
Taste is a little more complex than the nose, with plenty of tropical fruit flavors, mango in particular, shining through in addition to the grapefruit. The highlight for me is the mouthfeel. Very soft and full, and very, very smooth going down.
Overall, a well done beer, but nothing groundbreaking.

On tap and at home. Power-packed so better as a first beer.

Being fortunate enough to live in the epicenter of Vermont's most noted breweries I have short and easy access to the Alchemist, River Roost, Ten Bends, Red Barn, Hill Farmstead, and while I thoroughly enjoy offerings from each of the aforementioned, the 25 minute drive to Schillings is the one I make most often. Combover is simply the creme de la creme of New England IPAs. Hands down my favorite beer, although Prison City's Riot in Vermont is pretty darn good.
