Each year Fisher brews a big holiday American-style Barleywine that we like to call Feast Beer.
This year's version is pretty much the same Feast as always: big, malty, hoppy, and super balanced -- the perfect complement for that holiday feast.
This latest version is 11.3% abv, a bit higher than previous releases, but still features piney and fruity hop notes, highlighted by loads of caramel, biscuit, and pine nut malt character. It is insanely drinkable and balanced. It will also age nicely but go ahead and crack some of these open this holiday season. Our pal, and very great local artist, Trent Call, designed the label. Happy Feast!

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. No date on the can. Got it in a trade with @NorsemanOne.
Pours dark in color, almost cola, first thought when I saw it was light roast coffee. Smallish, dense head, moderate amount of ongoing carbonation. Smell is some nuttiness, some vanilla, some raisin, dark graininess.
Taste is light, delicate citrus up front, with a boozy back end. A couple more sips, the flavor moves toward a bark-y bitterness. Almost a burnt molasses character.
Mouthfeel is moderately thick, smooth, actually kind of surprisingly light for an 11.3% behemoth. Overall, this is a nice barleywine.

Pours a dark caramel/toffee color with a light tan head
Big toffee, hop and boozy aromas. Slight pine as well.
Malty, sharp, boozy, dark and an excellent lingering hop oil on the end of the tongue. Really brilliant
Full body and just enough carbo.
Drank it down in about 20min, so its wicked smooth as well.
