Full flavor in 5.5% brew. That ABV too often these days tastes weak or thin from other brewers, but this was full flavor. Citrus forward - mostly pineapple, but a nice crisp snap in the mouthfeel. I would buy this a lot more if it was regularly available.

Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with this can.

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a nice fat one finger white head that fades super slowly to leave a really dense creamy blanket. Quite nice.

S - Aromas of faint citrus, maybe a little bit of wheat. The finish though is rather cardboard forward and wet dog like. Very bizarre.

T - Taste is similar to the nose. Decent citrus notes, maybe some faint melon. Good soft candied orange peel, very light bitterness on the finish. The citrus gets a tad brighter as it warms. Nice grapefruit peel/flesh on the finish. Light fluffy malts.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, slightly less than medium bodied.

O - Overall this beer is decent enough but man oh man is the nose on this perplexing. It's only a month or so old but there is definitely some stuff going on that shouldn't. Thankfully though it did not translate to the taste.

Pours lemony yellow with a sweet light haze. clearing well with a creamy white head of foam. Spicy dank hop with pink grapefruit and it's peel. Lemon and earth a bit of sweet sugar. Light green herbal. This is one of the most delicate presentations of grapefruit I have ever seen in a lively pale ale. Malt is a white cracker. drinks perfectly with hop spice first backed by all kinds of generous citrus. That delightful and just sweetened pink grapefruit. No dms, no diacetyl so the middle is light and soft. The hops are like perfume as the beer warms. They move forward into the finish never quite overtaking the malt completely. That generous and delicate herbal is something I really like. Finishes crisply with bubble and with all kinds of citrus flavor to linger with a perfect bitterness. Why is the bitterness perfect? Because it does not strip those surprisingly vibrant yet more delicate flavors. The piney spice is backed by just enough sweetness to temper it. Did this beer use any hops that taste like bell pepper? I think this beer will pair especially well with the green bell pepper and with the bitter tomatillo. Now if you think you are done tasting after you observe the taste, nose , mouthfeel and overall impression, please take a moment to listen to your beer.

This beer just said to me "Come on baby. I'm in love."

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like orange peel, tangerine, grapefruit, weed, and pine.

This is supremely drinkable, with a great bitter backbone, and a big juicy tangerine/orange/grapefruit hop flavor up front. There's also a hint of weedy dankness on the end. There's no malt character here.

This is light bodied, and super crisp, with a good level of carbonation.

I could drink a lot of these pretty easily.

How did I not review this... my last of the 4 pack, thankfully I looked. Canned 11/14/17

Pours a decent fizzy bubbly head that fades at a med pace, decent lacing, murky yellow nectar color

Nose decent fruits, mostly citrus, orange juice, little musty tropical dank notes, guava, little mango, tangerine, creamy wheat

Taste brings more tropical citrus fruits, a bit dank and musty again, mango sorbet, guava, papaya, little citrus tangerine, a bit grassy and herbal too with a mild herbal tea, a bit of crackery malt and wheat, pithy, mild bitterness ramps to a fair bitterness on teh finish, a bit of grapefruit late as well.

Mouth is med bod a touch creamy, decent carb

Overall not bad, nice enjoyable light pale, bitterness is decent as it ramps, hops are nice, not sure what makes this not a NEIPA rather an pale.

A: The beer is relatively clear light yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short bright white head that left a layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass. The beer gets much more hazier as the contents of the can are poured out.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose—oranges seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste follows the smell and has citrusy flavors with hardly any bitterness whatsoever.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is definitely a "juicy" pale ale without any bitterness. It is easy to drink.
