Bright honey yellow look with beautiful citrus and peach nose. Taste is great sweet citrus (oranges/tangerines/pineapple) and no hop bite at end. Medium mouth feel. Excellent DIPA. One of best I have had in a while. Will definitely look for it again.

Drank from a 16 fl oz can purchased at Craft Beer Cellar, Belmont, MA
Served in a tulip

Cloudy mustard yellow appearance. Even after giving this can plenty of time to settle in my fridge and being sure to pour carefully so as to leave as much sediment behind as possible, floaties could still be seen throughout the liquid. The body was capped by a small, bubbly, off-white film that quickly dissolved. Wisps of froth coated the beer. A few dots of lacing trickled down the sides of the glass.

The aroma was terrific. Super hoppy and fruity. Peach notes came through strong. Big tropical fruit presence too. Loads of mango. Some musty papaya as well. Citrus notes appeared as the beer sat. Orange and tangerine were most noticeable. Juicy and sweet.

The flavor profile was also hoppy and very fruit forward but a bit messy. Things started out well on the front end. Big, juicy citrus notes dominated. Freshly squeezed orange juice came to mind. Good amount of sweetness. Candied orange peel appeared mid palate. Some mango and pineapple too. As the liquid moved along the palate, the sweetness really intensified, becoming somewhat cloyingly on the back end. The finish contained notes of bitter orange and grapefruit peel and a lingering, syrupy sweetness.

Medium bodied mouthfeel. Creamy, slick and smooth. The liquid contained a fine, moderate, tongue blanketing effervescence that fluffed up really nicely on the palate.

There was no date stamp on the bottom of this can, but it definitely tasted like a double IPA that was far past its prime. I recently drank Vanished Valley’s Watershed IPA and thought it was terrific. This beer, however, was a bit of a train wreck.

A mustard-honey-yellow color with a bubbly head of 1/2 finger that leaves a lot of lace on the glass.

Aromas of musty and sweaty peach, mango, nectarine, apricot, orange, and light blueberry muffin.

Flavor is just amazing. Explosive and juicy, has a great balance of herbal bitterness and pure juice. Basil, mango, peach, cherry, blueberry, thyme, lemongrass, mustard seed, cantaloupe, lemon, and more bitter herb finishing out the profile. Very complex, very tasty.

Feel is firstly carbonated, then creamy, with a nice resinous finish.

Overall, a mind blowing offering. Will definitely try to snag some more via trade or travel.

Another juicy, hazy, smooth hop juice ipa coming out of this brewery. I will keep seeking them out for sure!
