Pours a thin head. Regular gold beer color. Smells a little hoppy and floral.
Tastes pretty good. I would get this one again if I was avoiding alcohol for a while.

355 mL can from the brewery; dated Oct 16 2023 and served slightly chilled. That's pretty old, but I bought this at the brewery not that long ago, and if they're happy to sell beer from last October then I guess I'm happy to review it.
Pours a relatively clear golden-yellow colour, topped with nearly a finger of soapy, sudsy white head that melts away within a minute or two. A frothy collar and some filmy wisps on the surface are all that remain, save for some lace deposited after a swirl of the glass. Citrusy aroma with hints of grainy malts, sourdough and lemon peel.
Its flavours are similar - cereal grain sweetness, sourdough bread and grapefruit pith hops, finishing with shades of lemon water and steel cut oats. Dry conclusion. Very light in body, with good carbonation that adds a firm bite to this brew's watery-thin mouthfeel. Drinkable, inoffensive, and fairly refreshing.
Final Grade: 3.47, a B-. Summit definitely isn't the best low alcohol IPA I've ever come across, but I do think it's a passable effort. Pretty average to be honest - lacking any obvious faults, though its flavours are at least vaguely reminiscent of a really watery session IPA. I don't feel very strongly about this one way or the other... if it were a choice between this and a soft drink (e.g. Coke), I'd probably pick this, but I wouldn't be thrilled at the prospect.
