Slightly hazy deep gold, minimal white head, not much retention, a few specks of lace
Lactic, oak, a bit of underripe stonefruit on the nose
Tart, tastes like it smells, just a hint of phenols on the back end
Light bodied, way undercarbonated for the style
Was this fermented with a saison yeast? The lack of fruity esters and spicy phenols makes me question it. Also, needs way more carbonation. I'd expected a two year old, bottle conditioned sour ale to explode when I crack the bottle
