Very murky hazy, pale color, no head
Nose mix of French as American saison, mild peppery phenols, little earthy farmhouse, sweet blond malt and wheat, sweet orange peel, faint fruity esters, little doughy cracker malt
Taste sweet malts, little doughy cracker, biscuit, creamy toasty wheat, drier than I expected, mild fruity ester notes, peppery phenols, grassy hops, a weird paper yeast flavor on the back end, some sweet orange peel. Sweeter finish, mild phenols and grassy hops lingering.
Mouth is med to light bod, a bit creamy, decent but lighter carb
Overall not bad, kinda mix of American sweet malty and light phenol earthy dry French saison.
