L - pours a beet juice reddish pink. Fizzy bubbly head with a crimson-white hue. Touch of milky haze.
S - raspberries, but not exactly tart like one might expect from a raspberry beer. Sweetness in the form of fruit cup mandarin oranges. Light lactose.
T - raspberry and blueberry soda. Medicinal qualities and Necco Wafers (RIP). Artificial vanilla, strawberry bon bons, and a bready bite. Finishes tingly and a little dry.
F - not as thick as the name would imply! Decent creaminess, though, with some optimism in the carbonation.
O - not sure how I feel about this one. On one hand, there are some unique and perceptible flavors here which I can appreciate, but on the other, this is a mess. Tastes like raspberry vodka... like it wants to be a cocktail? This might actually go well with lime... aaaand that's a confirmation on that one. Lime adds the perfect bite to take away the medicinal sweetness! This could be a good beer on its own if more care was taken in the refinement and integration of flavors. I'm a fan of the attempt, though.
