Ironically hip, yet refined enough to close that latest acquisition deal, Corporate Hipster's use of Hallertau and Saaz lend the clean and crisp malt base additional layers of spiced citrus and tropical fruit. We were into keller pils before they were cool.

Murky yellow body with a finger of white foam and splotches of lacing. Smell is limited with cracker and mild floral hops. Taste has pale floral and mildly fruity hops with honey, lager malts, and cracker. Feel is pale, dries out through the sip, slightly thinner but rewardingly crisp. I really enjoyed this as a different new world take on the style

$10.99 4-pack of 16oz cans 5.2 ABV from brewery maybe 20 miles from where I sit...label says it's a "Modern American Pilsner Dry-Hopped with Citra and Saaz."
Out-of-freezer pour into a chilled late 90s Detroit Red Wings pint glass is light hazy straw and dated 10/5 so damn fresh and looks and tastes it.
Softly crisp, medium-bodied, some subtle background hint of sweet fruit or something which is nicely done. Certifiably refreshing as a pils is meant to be.
Digging the explosion of craft pils and lagers lately, esp. here in Connecticut/New England. Check out Green State Lager by Zero Gravity out of Burlington, VT - showing up here at $15.99 for 12-er and like sipping from a frosty and mildly hoppy stream in the woods.
