a real quality ipa here, better than the other hop forward beers i have had from these guys, they say its mosaic heavy, but im not positive if its a single hopped beer or not. i would lean towards not, as this finishes with a lot more bitterness than i ever really associate with mosaic (a good thing in this context), but who knows for sure. still dry hopped and juicy obviously, with all the wonderments of fresh mosaic in the nose, but the beer is both clearer in appearance and cleaner in feel and finish than some of their others, and than most of the east coast types, this is never quite so unfinished, and i prefer it that way. pineapple and citrus on the nose, a nice pale basic two row type malt base, fermented down to dry and so the hops really sparkle here. i like the bitter finish working with the mosaic fruitiness too, its not common enough with these hops, but it really works great. fine carbonation, lighter medium body, and crisp at the end, really nice drinking ipa, a session beer for beer people i think, and one of the more dialed in beers i have had from these guys so far...

This beer pours a hazy golden color. The head was frothy, white, 1 finger.
The nose is quite citrusy.
The taste is also quite citrusy, but also mellow at the same time. A bit of a bite on the backside.
Feel is quite full bodied.
Overall, probably not a true NEIPA, but it is a delicious IPA.
