this is a good take on a cream ale, light in flavor but somewhat more substantial in texture than many, more beery in that way, and i appreciated it a lot on a pretty sturdy hangover in the morning. a perfect beer to bring me back. crystal clear with a nice white foam head. the nose here has a pils type malt cereal freshness to it, maybe also a little corn or something, there is a grainy sweetness to the nose, light confectioners sugar, that i dig. no hops to it in the aroma, but a crispness like a lager from the yeast is detectable to my nose too. the flavor is nice, not sweet like it smells, but slightly floral, and the yeast is awesome in the finish, cleaning up the grain heft to make a real refreshing beer, must have done a long or very cold conditioning with this, smart call! i taste mostly pale type pils malt, but less european tasting than others, and i love it having a little more body. clean and tidy by the finish, lots of carbonation, and just a real versatile beer. nice in the morning to ease me back in, but also a good warm weather high volume drinker. this should become one of their more popular offerings in here...
