Pours a slightly hazy golden-straw in color, topped with a very pale tan head.
Nose exhibits a floral hop character, but little spiciness or bitterness. Subtle, I suppose. Clean / neutral malt profile , with no off characters of flaws.
Lightly sweet on the first sip, with the hop character being prominent. Very light lemon/citrus notes up front and fruit character (mild apple) toward the end.
Super light in body, and very, very drinkable for its strength.
Another “Italian-style Pilsner”, Pumps differs from Stilletos in that it has a slightly milder hop profile overall, and even though it featured three well-known hops (Hersbrucker, Tettnang, and Centennial) it has less overall bitterness than its predecessor in the series.
