16oz can
this was a well-done witbier from an MN brewery(!). it actually has a depth of flavor and left me wanting another. It kicks New Belgium's version square in the nuts i.e. it is very much the better bier in every department (while remaining slightly similar in profile). Incredibly drinkable while retaining the usual profile.
I haven't had a wit this good in a long time (or ever)

One of the better Minnesota made or even U.S. made witbiers I've had recently.
Aromas is just ok...yeast forward...touch of sour notes...but more orange/citrus...
This has the perfect witbier flavors of wheat, yeast, coriander, and orange peel. It all blends very nicely with nothing overwhelming the flavor. Some versions get too rich in one area or the other but this hits the mark across the board without overdoing it.
Body is smooth, clean and easy drinking.
Tough to find quality efforts in this highly refreshing style that drinks great in the summer. I wish more would brew this style but then again only if they can do it like this. Very impressed. A kegerator of this in the summer would be excellent.

16oz can. Blackstack does not mark its cans with brewing or canning dates.
Paler straw colored body that is partly cloudy. One finger white head, which settles down to a partial, lively cap and ring. Leaves a few, small strings of lacing.
Aroma is big with wheat and yeast, with a little orange and coriander.
Taste is following the smell, with slightly sweet wheat and yeast, complemented by orange and lesser coriander.
Medium mouth feel, with very good carbonation.
Full of wheat that has its sharpness corralled by the orange peel. Quite smooth and very easy to drink.

Pours a cloudy lemonade yellow with a thick white head, nice retention and fantastic lacing. Aroma is what you would expect given the labeling. Belgian yeast, coriander and orange. Flavor follows the nose. Feel is nice and crisp. Overall a great Summer beer.

Witbiers are few and far between the last few years so it is nice that a brewery decided to branch out from their hazy IPA reputation. Cloudy pale golden color with a large dense head. Unlike the vast majority of hazy IPAs which look like murky shit, this actually looks good.
Aroma is limited to wheat with a hint of orange. The coriander is weak. It is weak in the flavor as well so people who do not like coriander have nothing to fear in this beer. The orange peel is noticeable but not distracting. Nice Belgian yeast and wheat flavors. Light body and nicely carbonated. Overall it gives a nice texture.

L: hazy straw white under a massive 3.5 " snow white cap with good retention.
S: Wheat, coriander and orange peel with light Belgian fermentation character.
T: Mildly sweet coriander and orange peel with a Belgian feel and mild wheat flavors. The bitterness starts a touch high but mellows as you drink.
F: Medium body, medium carbonation, rich texture.
O: They nail the coriander and orange peel and come real close to the Belgian yeast character.
