Picked up a single 16 oz. can under the “fool me
The pour is a light mango color with plenty of life, & reeks of not much. Vaguely tropical, but one of the lighter noses from this brewery’s one-off IPAs.
Thunder Lizard breaks up the monotony of saccharine-sweet, cancer-causing IPAs Black Stack has been pumping out like a puppy factory. Very mango forward, with a bass line of oranges, with a drying, pulp-like backing. Unlike many of their recent efforts, this sixteen is going fast.
Very good beer that gives me hope the brewery will return to its former glory.

On tap. Limited small batch with extra round of Santo dry-hopping.
White head with lace. Hazy orange juice color.
Juicy and tropical, but a little too fresh. Mango, orange, melon. Fairly soft, but a bit of green shows. More flavor comes out as it warms. Maybe some strawberry. Very fun to try, but I’d like this more with 3 weeks on it. Sadly, it will be gone in under 3 days.
