No canning date
Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (10% clarity) medium orange color with a mild white head. SRM of 6. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong-arms of orange citrus, pineapple, mango and melon. Slightly green. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange juice, pineapple, tropical melon and hints of mango. Juicy and sweet. (3.75)
Feel: Heavier-bodied, average to lower carbonation relatively. Juicy and leans sweet. (3.50)
Compared to BlackStack Purely Decorative 6/2023: Pours similar, milder head. Stronger aromas. More pineapple, citrus, mango. Less sweet melon and berries. Slightly lighter and cleaner.
7/2023: Pours similar, milder aromas. More orange, tangerine, sweet melon. Less tropical pineapple, green mango.
Overall: Another big NEIPA from BlackStack and usually not a fan of these bigger ones. It's like mixing all the sodas from the machine and naming it a new soda. Blends the Citra, Strata, Amarillo well, but that's about it. The flavors never quite emerge and it's too heavy and sweet. More messy, boozy, and sweet. I wouldn't revisit most IPAs past 8.5% from BlackStack. (Final Rating: 3.72)

Can. White head. Lace. Hazy pale straw yellow.
Tropical with melon notes. Some orange and orange peel. A bit of watermelon. Soft feel to it. Not very earthy or green. Solid.

Why do I keep doing this to myself? Another single 16 oz. can.
The pour is lemon zest yellow & opaque in the best tradition of Reinheitsgebot, with a bouquet also of the zest of lemon, spring fields, & a touch of citrus. Like in an IPA.
Meat Raffle – really? What’s next, Venison Sticks & Earthworm Bobber? Behind the veil of the awful name is a danky, stanky beer that does not appear to having a passing relationship with any manner of IPA. Thick orange juice, tongue-roughening graininess, heavy mouthfeel & like lead shot in the intestines, closing out with a harsh, unpleasant bitterness.
If you see me buying any more Blackstack IPAs, please punch me in the junk. This & the recent Pull Tabs are beyond awful – I can’t even tell what they’re trying to brew anymore. To the sink. I hope the local water treatment plant is up to the task.

Pours a cloudy straw color with a fresh white head. Smell was floral with lemon, orange and grapefruit. taste follows nose with more citrus/tropical notes , oranges ,some dankness, herbal notes, more citra in the finish. A dry soft mouth feel with ABV very well hidden had some aspirin/chalky notes with citra dominating the hops and a sweetnees in the finish.. Well done easy to kill the pint which you will feel when done.
