From a 16oz can:

appearance: Clear yellow, Ok head.

Smell: Little bit of sweetness, little bit of skunk.

Taste: Mild sweet corn, then a nice grassy/hay finish. Kind of slick feel, not super dry.

Overall: I wanted a pilsner, and I got my first “Italian” pilsner. Doesn't seem all that much different than any other hoppy pilsner. Tastes pretty good and even gives a whiff of old timey skunk despite being from a can.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, light, pale lemon color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of pale malts, there’s some grassy yeast and flower. Hints of bubblegum. (3.50))

Flavor: Initial flavors of pale malts upfront, then some yeast and lots of bready notes through the rest. Hints of bubblegum. Slightly sweet for the ABV. (3.75)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Decent carbonation. Finishes with a a bit of breadiness and slightly sweet. (3.75)

Compared to Paulaner Pilsner 5/9/22: Pours a similar, slightly lighter color. More lemonflower on the nose. Less toasted German malts and less grassy. Lighter.

Compared to Fair State Superclear 6/7/22: Pours slightly darker, milder head. Milder aromas. More bread malt and bubblegum.

Compared to Bahaus Wonderstuff 6/7/22: Pours lighter, similar head. Similar aromas. More generic pale malts, less bready. Winner: Wonderstuff

Compared to Pipeworks Pils 7/24/22: Pours similar. Milder aromas. More bubblegum and berry flavors. Less lemonflower, lemongrass.

To Third Space The Maestro 4/2023: Pours lighter and clearer. Stronger aromas. More flower bitterness. Less smooth breadiness. Similar bitterness.

Compared to Falling Knife Convivio 7/2023: Pours darker, milder head. Milder aromas. More bread malts and yeast. Less lemonflower. More bitter and yeast. Slightly heavier.

Overall: A nice pilsner here. Not sure how the Italian brand differs from a German pilsner, but apparently it's dry-hopped. Could definitely see this style catching on. Nice lemonflower notes initally. Great stuff and sort of reminds me of Fair State’s Pilsner, but possibly with a lighter body. On my second review, much less and more bready and bubblegum notes. On the third review, more bubblegum and berries. Suspect it really drops off with age. (Rating: 3.71 for now. 4.18 on my initial review, but really worsened with a some slight age)

Crystal clear light gold body with decent carbonation rising to a 1 inch thick white head with good retention leaving spotty lacing. This is a gorgeous beer when highlighted in a pilsner glass.

Aroma pops as soon as I open the can, but from the glass it could be stronger, especially given the promise of the "adoring" dry hopping. Smell is floral, lemon, grass, bread.

The taste is bready, floral-hoppy, and grainy at the initial sip. Somewhat sweet transitioning to a quite bitter middle, which carries on growing with each drink, into the finish and aftertaste. The combination of flavors from both the malts and the hops is quite good, quite enjoyable. The bitterness is not out of bounds for a Czech pilsner, perhaps a bit strong for a German-style (as it is entered here) but, then this is "Italian-style"! The finish is dry-ish.

The mouth presence is moderate for a pils, with good carbonation feel.

Overall, an excellent St. Paul-brewed pilsner. I'll gladly buy it again.

16oz can. No dating found, but from a recent canning run.
Slightly cloudy, straw colored body. One thick finger of white foam, and this recedes to a thin cap. Some isolated bands of lacing on the glass.
Aroma of honey and grass.
Taste has a base of slightly sweet malts, but the main flavors come from the hops, Noble type hops, which lack the fruit or pine of the popular hops used in IPAs. The hop flavors bring forth a smooth bitterness, a spice bite, and what tastes like grass or hay. Not much of a strong aftertaste but provides enticement for another sip.
Medium mouth feel. Smooth and crisp. Good carbonation.
A very good choice for a session beer, with a beer that provides much more flavor than AALs.

Very pale straw color that has the slightest of haze. A solid finger of head forms and has good retention. Plenty of lacing left down the glass. Aroma of honey, lemon-lime, and a bit of herbs and grass. Flavor is sweet for a pilsner which automatically lessens the score for me. Flavors of honey and grassy and herbal hops. Bitterness is moderate as most of the flavor comes from dry hopping. For some reason it does not feel lively despite seeing plenty of carbonation. It just lies on the palate and doesn't help me dealing with the sweetness.

From a 16oz can June 2020 into a tall pilsner glass.
L: Pouring yellow gold, clear with a slight, very slight haze, some skeletal lacing.
S: It's nose is bready/ biscuity, lightly fruit-sweet and some esters.
T: Standing upright semi-floral hop snap within an earthy pizza dough malt base that has a lightly sweet buttery golden dry finish.
F: Has a smooth, fresh deep mouth feel that is somewhat light and it has beautiful golden treacle that is buttery and finishes med fast. Very good carbonation but not lively. It is excellent in it's style and very well balanced. Very excellent.

Pours a clear golden color. 2 finger fluffy head. Head retention is decent. The foam clings to the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose has almost a honey sweetness to it from the malts.
Taste - The sweetness from them alts is nicely balanced out by just the right amount of a hop bite.
Crisp and clean. Decent body.
Solid beer of the style.

On tap. Italian Pilsner. Clear golden color. White head.

Crisp, smooth, soft. Bready and biscuity malts. Earthy, zesty, grassy hops. Light bodied and easy drinking. Very nice. 4.25

After trying the batch out of cans, this is getting bumped to a 4.5. So much flavor and so easy drinking. Very complex Pilsner. Will be buying a lot of this.
