Can. Large thick off white head with lace. Hazy mango golden orange.
Very tropical with a little bit of citrus fruit. Orange, mango, melon. Fairly light bodied, but tons of flavor. Soft, no bitterness. Hints of honey dew and cream/lactose in the finish. Digging this one.

BlackStack Chop Chop NE IPA. Collaboration with Falling Knife.
6.6 % ABV.
BlackStack Brewing, St. Paul, MN.
Hazy, bright golden, large, lasting white head.
In the nose: Soft and smooth, lightly fruity, slightly sweet.
In the mouth: Brief blast of bitterness grazes the palate, subsequently light citrus hop flavors shine. Juicy. Lemon and grapefruit lead the charge. I'm waiting for the tropical hop element that is requisite for the NE IPA style to come on in and join the party, but it's running late. Oh, wait, here it comes, a little bit of sweet juiciness.
I'm liking this. Not too hazy, not too sweet, but yet not bitter enough for me to fall in love with it.
Not bad, though. Good NE IPA and you can drink it.

L: Opaque orange-golden in color, topped with a dense off-white head. Great lacing.
S: Huge tropical fruit character on the nose (papaya, pineapple, orange, and mango), along with plenty of mint. Very good for what it is, and what it wants to be.
T: More of that tropical fruit character, along with plenty of sweetness (IT’S JUICE!), and a solidly sturdy, underlying bitterness. Mint aspect of the hip blend still makes this one a bit more distinct, and stands out in the aromatics.
F: VERY easy-drinking, and just about perfect for its 6.6% ABV. It’s almost too easy to drink — much like many of the DIPA / NEIPA from BlackStack.
O: Another solid, juicy HAZEBOI. I didn’t expect anything less, but have never had (much less visited) Falling Knife, and they’re the newest MPLS brewpub. A solid effort, and I hope to get over to try them in person.

Quarantine collab with the folks from Falling Knife. Everything Gatornation said, plus I caught some cannabis flavors halfway through. Delicious.

Pours a hazy golden color with a fresh white head. Smell is floral/tropical . Taste has ample citra hops that have papaya, citrus, some berry and lime. Soft mouth feel wit some slight sting in the hop. Tasty NEIPA.
