Hangover-Inspired Smoothie Sour
You know those nights on vacation where you just want one more cocktail, but then that one more cocktail has an umbrella & Pineapple on it & you’re like let's have five more of those? And then the only way to make yourself not yak at brunch the next morning is to have another? This was inspired by one of those nights. Dreamt up with our Viking Brethren from the North, Drekker Brewing Company & channeling the fiery hellspawn of a Piña Colada & a Strawberry Daiquiri: The Miami Vice. Named for the eternal call of mothers everywhere when they know you’re going to do something stupid. Built on our Mixed-Culture, Foeder-Fermented Berliner Base & conditioned on obscene amounts of Strawberry, Pineapple, Coconut Flakes, Milk Sugar, Vanilla & so, so much Coconut Cream. For those occasions when one bad decision just simply won't do.

A: The beer is very hazy and has looks caramel in color when viewed from afar. It poured with a half finger high dark tan head that has excellent retention properties and hardly died down.
S: Light aromas of strawberries and pineapples are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has stronger notes of pineapple along with notes of strawberry.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied, a bit "slushy" and rather tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is definitely unique but it doesn't really seem that combining a pińa colada with a strawberry daiquiri results in a better tasting beer - I would have preferred one or the other on its own.

Can. Chunky peach melon color. Peach hued head with chunky lace.
Pineapple, orange, vanilla, lactose, strawberry, and coconut. Tropical fruit smoothie. A little tart. Doesn’t taste like beer, but tastes great.

Ordered from Tavour. Chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass. I will pre-empt with we like Drekker, and we like sours... so yeah...
Look: orangish yellow, cloudy with initial cascades of purée. Big two finger sized head with purée and some lacing down the glass as we drank
Smell: pineapple up front, sour/acidic hints with a little funk
Taste: holy sour-balls Batman! Took a big drink, swished around and PUCKER... We get pineapple up front, then a sour/acidic lemon note that dominates the middle... sour enough that the strawberry takes the-WAY back seat. The middle is more sour/acidic and in the nose pineapple and some strawberry/lemon. As we drank, mid-glass it warmed a tad and the sour decreased a tad and we got a little more strawberry, but still the pineapple dominates. We had a hard time getting vanilla. Definitely got no coconut cream.
Feel: full, smoothy-ish, acidic/tart/sour, slight tickle of carbonation
Again, we like Drekker, but this was a serious pucker and so much that even though strawberry is listed first, we couldn’t get any beyond the pineapple and sour-lemon notes. If you like sour and fruit, this is a good beer. For me, if you say you are putting vanilla bean caviar and coconut cream, guess I was expecting some vanilla and smooth coconut cream, even in the mouthfeel, but not as much. There is so much lactic acid and fruit sour in this one, it was a bit much for me.

Looks like a strawberry shake in a beer glass. Initial taste is pineapple juice, which then evolves in to the sour, puckering finish. The berries are light and add a little more to the flavor experience, but it is masked by the predominantly Dole juice resemblance.
