Hazy, orange color. Big, nice-looking head. Ripe tropical fruits, apricots, melon, and malt in the aroma. The body is surprisingly thin for this ABV. Hoppy, juicy, and moderately sweet.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (20% clarity) medium to dusky yellow/golden color with a strong white head. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, lemon, bright pineapple with grapefruit and mango skins underneath. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, sweet, pineapple, grapefruit with a sweet grapefruit, lime, honeydew melon and mango flavor underneath. Juicy, tropical and slightly sweet. (4.25)

Feel: Medium body, appropriate combination, finishes slightly sweet, but fairly clean. (4.25)

Compared to BlackStack Pack Of Shooters 1/25: Pours darker, stronger aromas. More grapefruit, pineapple, mango. Less tropical orange, berries, grape, melon. Similar sweetness.

to BlackStack KPIs 3/25: Pours darker, similar aromas. More mango/melon sweetness. Less bright citrus and grape. Sweeter.

to BlackStack Loud Pack 4/25: Pours clearer, stronger aromas. More sweet melon and mango. Less pineapple, citrus zest, and passionfruit. Winner: Clap Back

Overall: Nice hop combo of Cashmere and Strata, and a bit large ABV. Little bit of green melon and lime from Cashmere, but also a distinct sweet grapefruit and mango flavor from the Strata. I actually tried this without know the hops and could guess Strata based on the flavors. (Rating: 4.18)

No obvious canning date. From the brewery website: “ At BlackStack we try to remember that every good ending deserves a twist. *CLAP* So put it together for this happy ending, *CLAP* Our hand-selected Strata, Cashmere & Cashmere Cryo in even larger championship game, movie montage proportions. *CLAP* So pour one out for the underdog who showed a lot of heart, but still lost, and the overbearing dad who learns that winning really isn't everything. *CROWD GOES F%*$ING WILD*.” Nice DIPA with a little heat on the finish from the 9.0%abv.

This is just called Clap Back (it’s a ddh dipa).

On tap. White head. Lace. Hazy sunset golden orange.

Lots of mango and some melon. Tangerine citrus. Soft and smooth. Peach yogurt. Earthy hops. Faint bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable.

Pours a hazy glowing straw color with a fresh head. Smell is topical and musty dank with berries a sweet citrus. Taste is citrus forward with melon, passion fruit, lemon/lime with some pineapple in finish. A soft juicy tropical mouth feel with ABV well hidden. BlackStack is crushing the DIPA’S right now.
