On Tap.. Pours a black color with a tan head . Smell is hazelnut, cinnamon whiskey and coffee . Taste has roasted coffee/malts infused nicely with marshmallow/vanilla, very nice barrel notes of bourbon. Mouth feel sweet and roasty adjuncts and barrel well balanced ..superb!

On tap. Tan head. Black color.
Hazelnut up front, followed my some cocoa and a bit of roast. The hazelnut is really nice. I suppose the roast is from the coffee. The cinnamon hits at the end with some warming notes. Likely the barrels. Not a huge barrel flavor, but it’s there. Everything is really balanced.
Edit: august 2021
Adjuncts faded slightly, way more barrels showing. Marshmallow and vanilla goodness. Warming bourbon. This has aged insanely well. 4.6

The hazelnut, coffee and cinnamon were a very good touch, balanced and not too sweet with a thick syrupy mouthfeel. It was a very good stout from a brewery that mostly focuses on IPAs and sours.
