We got blessed with some USDA 074, a stoke worthy new varietal from the fine folks at Oregon State's Breeding Program. We were getting deep citrus and soft tropical vibes, so naturally we had to take it for a rip with our murky mainstay. Blessed with a third round of USDA 074 in the dry hop after the first two of our hand selected Azacca, Amarillo and Citra Cryo. Saturated salutations from our house to yours.

Can. Hazy pale golden sunset. White head with lace.

Citrus and tropical fruits. Mango, melon, papaya, and orange. Soft and juicy. This is a crusher. BS starting to dial in the singles.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Murky straw colored body. One fat finger of white head, which recedes to a thin cap. Leaves tendrils of lacing on the non-drinking side of the glass.
Aroma is abundant with orange citrus, tropical and melon hop smells.
Taste is sugar sweet, with an overlay of the hops. One part has the flavor of orange soda. A little sting, especially on the tongue, but not a hop burn in the throat. Juicy and light. Orange, melon, and a hint of strawberry.
Medium mouth feel, and smooth but short of being syrupy. Very good carbonation.
Lots of aroma and flavors, but very light to drink. Kind of like an orange spritzer, but a minor hop dankness exists throughout.

Pours a light hazy lemon straw color with a fresh thin head. Smell is citrus apple pear and melon. Taste is fruity notes of melon and pear light orange/lemon notes with some berries. Mouth feel is light its fruity and lemon sprtizy with hops. One of the lighter DDH IPA”S I’ve had.
