Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, light and pale yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit, dank white grape, passionfruit, some berry and lychee underneath. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of grapefruit, white grape, passionfruit, pineapple, citrus rind with a crisp and dank white grape and lychee notes. Hints of berries underneath. Dry and clean. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation. Crisp, clean, and dry. (4.00)

Compared to BlackStack Pack Of Shooters 11/24: Pours identical, milder aromas. More grapefruit, passionfruit, citrus rind, white grape. Less sweet pineapple, melon, ripe mango skins and orange. Drier and cleaner. Winner: Pack Of Shooters.

to Drekker Metaphase 12/24: Pours clearer, milder aromas. Less citrus flower, grapefruit, vinous white grape. More pineapple, mango, sweet grape. Less pine and sweeter.

to Hop Butcher Galaxy Bowl 12/24: Pours lighter. Stronger aromas. Less grapefruit, passionfruit, tangerine, passionfruit. More pineapple, mango, grape. Brighter.

to Drekker Synaptic Cleft 1/25: Pours darker, milder aromas. More orange, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, grape. Less green melon and strawberry. Similar sweetness.

to BlackStack KPIs 2/25: Pours identical, milder aromas. More grapefruit, pineapple. Less grape and mango. More complex.

Overall: A promising hop combo. Mosaic, Strata, and Nelson. Lots of Strata grapefruit upfront. Some white grape from the Nelson. The Mosaic takes the backseat with some hints of dank berries underneath. Overall, clean and dry with Strata and Mosaic. I think it needs a bit more base hop or malt here to give it a tropical sweetness. This is a punch of bright Strata and Nelson, but could use a bit of a sweeter malt/hop flavor. Pretty good. Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on August 29, 2021.

 

On tap. White head. Lace. Hazy pale golden color.

Pineapple, mango, orange. Tropical and juicy. Some hops show, but pretty soft. A bit floral, a bit grassy. Very drinkable.

Pours a hazy straw color with thin head and little lacing. Smell is tropical fruit oranges ,mango,pineapple and berrrie. Taste is dry and juicy with B4 mentioned smell it fruity also has some wine/berry and pine in finish. A soft mouth feel with medium/low carbonation, more dry than sweet.

Hazy, straw colored body. One finger white head quickly falls to a partial cap. Leaves one top ring and lower strings of lacing.
Aroma has pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit and mango. Has a little bit of pine.
Taste is hop fruity with pineapple, grapefruit, orange and mango. About 30% on the scale of bitterness, with some pine. Early aftertaste emphasizes the bitterness, and trails off with some citrus and pine.
Medium mouth feel. Soft texture. Slight hop burn at the top of the throat. Okay carbonation.
Soft and juicy, with some bitterness from the hops concentration. Slight cat piss in the smell as the beer warms.

Another hazy IPA from the prolific Blackstack.

Fair amount of bitterness. Mango, pine, pineapple aroma and taste. Fuller mouthfeel for a double.
