16oz can into a Spiegelau glass.
L: Pours a lightly hazed bright gold/yellow w/a 1.25" frothy eggshell white head w/a cap. Decent retention to edge foam. Fair carbonation & decent banding & webbed lacing.
S: Pineapple, white bread, caramelized malts, orange, papaya, a hint of coconut, light alcohol as the beer warms.
T: Orange, pineapple, papaya, light citrus zest, a suggestion of coconut. It is non-resinous. Well balanced citrus sweetness & citrus zest bitterness. Very bright & clean tasting.
F: Incredibly soft, smooth, ultra clean semi-juicy light bodied mouth feel w/a moderately fast lightly drying finish.
O: Wow! An incredibly easy drinking American DIPA w/a very fresh & light citrus approach that borders on juicy. Well masked 8.1% ABV that is non-detectable in taste. This beer makes me happy! It is very incredible in it's style.
