Poured 8/20/22 (no canning date):

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (15% clarity) medium, slightly light and bright orange color with a strong white head. SRM 6. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of orange, pineapple, sweet mango and melon. (4.00)

Flavor: Moderately strong flavors of orange, pineapple, grapefruit. Some tropical flavors and sweetness underneath including papaya, pineapple and mango. (42.5)

Feel: Medium . Slightly sweet. Fairly soft and smooth. (4.25)

Compared to BlackStack Trust the Process 8/20/22: Pours a slightly lighter color. Slightly lighter aromas. More light citrus and pineapple. Less sweet mango and papaya.

Compared to BlackStack 755 HBC 586 9/7/22: Pours a similar color, slightly darker. Milder aromas. More sweet pineapple and melon. Less floral and lemon notes. Similar overall, but slightly sweeter/heavier. Very similar, but heavier.

Compared to BlackStack Universally Panned 9/7/22: Pours a lighter color. Milder aromas. More sweet pineapple and melon. Less dank berries and mango. Lighter, and slightly dryer.

Overall: Nice stuff here. Nice ,sweet pineapple, tropical citrus. Balanced sweetness, and relatively clean.Leans slightly sweet. Nice flavors, and none are overpowering, but the body is really nice here. This is standard BlackStack, which as of now has become nothing less than great. The Idaho 7 and HBC are really nice here. They've got the IPA protocol down, but really dialing it in with the hop flavors recently. (Rating: 4.15)

Can. White head. Some lace. Hazy orange juice yellow color.

7.4%, about as low as BS can go these days. But hey, it’s still a single. Orange, mango, papaya. Nice and tropical which is good to see. Classic BS sweetness which I like. Fairly piney and floral notes with bitterness in the finish. Pretty solid after a few recent duds.

 

A blend of 5 hops into a NEIPA. This one pours hazy straw yellow with a 1 finger fresh white head Smell is floral piney , herbal and spicy. Lots going on in taste from papaya, sage ,melon,grapefruit oranges and pine . Mouth feel has some bitterness going on with pine and citrus rind , its more dry than sweet ,.
