16oz can. No dating information found.
Cloudy, pale straw colored body. One finger white milky colored head, and this maintains as a thin cap and higher ring. Leaves a scattered spotting of lacing.
Aroma of mango, green melon, pineapple, orange, onion, and mint.
Taste is sweet with flavors of pineapple, mango, green melon, orange, onion, and mint. Lingering flavors in the aftertaste with a sweet malt base.
More than medium mouthfeel. Buzzy on the tongue with each sip. Soft and smooth with a dry finish. Good carbonation,
with a partial cap lasting until the last sip.
Citrus and tropical fruit hop dominated IPA but balanced for sweetness. Very little bitterness. Ultimately rewarding.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a slightly hazy yellow with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank apricot and stone fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with pineapple, Guava, and stone fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Aroma: Strong and dank juicy aromas of tropical berries. Blueberries with a light herbal note. Some white wine and vinous notes, which lift it up from the forest floor. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong dank, juicy flavors of forest berries. Blueberries. Somewhat herbal with some lemon. Tropical grape with some light pine and vinous notes. Dry. (4.25)
Feel: Slightly lighter bodied. Clean. Also relatively soft and smooth. (4.25)
Compared to Phase 3 DDH Pearlescent Tides 8/27/22: Pours a lighter color. Very similar aromas and flavors. Slightly more herbal citrus qualities. Less sweet pineapple. Similar foresty blueberry notes. Overall, similar, but slightly dryer.
Compared to Fair State 400 Club 6/2024: Pours lighter, stronger aromas. Less tangerine, stonefruit. More juicy pineapple, melon, mango skins.
Compared to Barrel Theory When The Sun Hits 6/2024: Pours lighter, milder aromas. More tropical pineapple, grape, and mango notes. Less OJ and grapefruit.
to BlackStack Pseudoscience 7/24: Pours lighter. Milder aromas. More lemon citrus, zest. Less tropical pineapple and mango. More zesty, clean, rounded. Winner: City Pages
to Hop Butcher Be Alert For Foul Balls 9/25: Pours lighter, stronger aromas. Less lime and pine. More juicy pineapple and mango.
Overall: Some really nice stuff here and showcase of Mosaic and Nelson. Has the foresty blueberry from Mosaic but has a light lemon and vinous grape note from the Nelson to pick it off the forest floor. Dank mosaic, yet light and clean. Smooth and soft as well. A hard balance to master, but this is one of BlackStack's best IPAs.. (Rating: 4.33 ...repeating of course)
