Pours a hazy golden straw with a finger and a half of head that settles to a thin cap with some lacing. Aroma of mango and grapefruit. Taste follows nose. Full-bodied. Very nice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy, pale and lightly yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 5. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit citrus, mango, mango skins, some tropical melon and pineapple. (4.25)

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of mango flesh, tropical pineapple, tropical orange. Juicy and finishes slightly sweet. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation and leans juicy citrus on the finish. Mildly tart. (3.75)

Compared to BlackStack Trust The Process 10/22: Pours a lighter hazier color. Milder aromas. More mango flesh and citrus. Less melon and tropical flavors. Slightly lighter and dryer.

Compared to BlackStack Microdosing Strata 12/2022: Pours similar, similar aromas. More tropical papaya and grapefruit. Less tart juicyfruit and mango. Sweeter and heavier .

Compared to The Veil Wake Up 12/2022: Pours lighter, stronger aromas. More tropical papaya and grapefruit. Less white grape and grapefruit, pear, and floral notes. Juicier, heavier, sweeter.

Overall: Some nice grapefruit citrus, mango flesh flavors here from the Idaho 7. Some pineapple here too. Nice citrusy and juicy flavors. Sort of reminds me of some of their Strata NEIPAs. Great aromas and flavors. The mouthfeel is a bit underwhelming and lends an OJ and booze feel to it. Otherwise this one is designed quite nicely. For BlackStack this one is at least average, maybe better. (Rating: 4.20)

 

Pours a hazy and murky straw color with a thin fresh white head , Smell is fruity and juicy with hops Taste has mango grapefruit ,melon and dank berries . Mouth is more sweet than dry has some mango bitterness in finish.
