Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity), medium to light yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of ripe pineapple and mango hit upfront. Then it evolves into a citrus and white wine and grape aroma. Finishes with the sweet shite grape and melon. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong flavors of juicy pineapple. Lots of navel orange follow. Then grapefruit with a sweet white grape flavor. Juicy and leans sweet. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied, average carbonation. Finishes sweet. (4.00)
Compared to BlackStack TDH Pocket Dial 1/2023: Pours slightly lighter, similar though. More navel orange citrus, white wine, grapes. Less green and herbal melon, guava, and apple. Similar sweetness and body.
Overall: A nice array of hops here. Focuses on the citrus and New Zealand varieties with the Amarillo imparting the orange flavor and the Pacific Sunrise for the white wine and grape flavors. Bitter citrus matched by sweet grape flavors. Heavier and leans slightly sweet. Nicely done here. (Rating: 4.11)
