Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (5-10% clarity) medium orange and yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of green and tropical pineapple, green lime citrus, with green grape and apple sweetness underneath. Balanced by light green floral notes. (4.25)

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of tropical pineapple, green lime citrus, and melon. Follows with green guava, pear, melon and apple flavors. Tropical with a green herbal bitterness. Leans sweet. (4.25)

Feel: Medium to heavier bodied with average carbonation. Finishes heavier and moderately sweet. (4.00)

Compared to BlackStack Splash Pad 1/2023: Pours darker, but similar. More green guava, melon, and apple flavors. Less navel orange citrus, pine, and white wine flavors. More resinous and tropical. Slightly heavier, but similar sweetness. Winner: Pocket Dial

Compared to BlackStack Full Disclosure 1/2023: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More green guava, lime, melon. Less grapefruit and mango. More floral and green notes and overall more flavors. Winner: Pocket Dial

Compared to BlackStack Garden Unit 2/2023: Pours darker, hazier. Stronger aromas. More green guava, lime, melon. Less orange, berries, papaya. More pronounced and robust overall. Winner: Pocket Dial

Compared to Blackstack Final Fantasty 3 2/2023: Pours lighter, similar head. Stronger aromas. More green citrus, lime, guava, melon, herbal and floral notes. Less tropical pineapple, vinous grape, mango. More juicy and citrusy.

Compared to Saint Errant Fuzzy Britches 3/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Stronger aromas. More green citrus, lime, guava, green melon. Less papaya, orange, sweet pineapple. More robust and green.

Compared to Phase 3 DDH Feline Fine 3/2023: Pours lighter. Less strawberry and melon. More green citrus, lemon, lime, guava, and green melon. More herbal with a bite.

Compared to BlackStack Side Hustle 3/2023: More green citrus, lemon, lime, guava, and green melon. Less strawberry, mango, pineapple.

Compared to BlackStack DDH Spongebath 3/2023: Pours darker, stronger aromas. More green guava, lime, herbs. Less juicy orange, pineapple, mango. More green and bitter.

Overall: Quite a unique NEIPA from BlackStack. Green, tropical, lime citrus with a touch of herbal notes to balance it out. Comes together quite nice. I think the Sabro and Cashmere impart the green and tropical flavor with the Talus giving the floral notes. Very nice flavor profile with green lime and garden flowers. Bright and floral, not dank and herbal. That's what makes this one great. (Rating: 4.28 at least)

Poured from pint can into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours a super hazy soft lemon hue with 1/2 inch bubbly white head that quickly recedes to a thin skim.
S: Dank pineapple, papaya, lime, orange cream, and a hint of lemon.
T: Dank pineapple, guava, papaya, lime, mango cream, and hints of berries, coconut, and lemon.
M: Light-medium body. Layers of tropical fruit sweetness. Dank with mild bitterness. Juicy feel.
D: A nicely executed brew with an interesting laundry list of hops that are very well expressed and all play well together.

 

Pours a hazy apricot golden color with nice lacing and head. Smell is dank fruity and tropical . Taste has citrus ,garden berries,papaya and melon . Mouth feel is dank malty and sweet, some dryness ,,
