Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (15% clarity), medium golden color with a moderate white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus and flesh, tropical pineapple some mango, but then a distinct peanut butter aroma. (3.50)
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange citrus, orange flesh, tropical pineapple and mango with the peanut butter sweetness within. Finishes relatively sweet. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied, average carbonation and leans sweet on the body. (4.00)
Compared to Portage Above The Clouds 1/2023: Pours darker, milder aromas. More tropical pineapple, mango, peanut butter. Less grapefruit citrus, coconut, and vinous notes. Heavier and sweeter.
Compared to Portage This is an Illusion 1/2023: Pours lighter, clearer. Milder aromas. More tropical pineapple, plastic notes. Less citrus zest, and vinous notes. Heavier and sweeter.
Overall: A pretty decent NEIPA here. They keep bringing Brickworth back. This one has some interesting peanut butter flavors. Not sure if from the Phantasm or what. Tropical pineapple, mango, peanut butter, and leans sweeter. Still drinks pretty alright. (Rating: 3.83)

From the BlackStack website: “The next chapter in our series with our bud Tyler, the Head Brewer down at Bricksworth Beer Co. in Burnsville & soon to be open in the North Loop. This beer, “SCRAMJET”, is dripping with Citra, Mosaic, Talus & Australian Nelson Sauvin with some Phantasm Powder in the whirlpool to help accentuate hop aromas. Come fly with us.” Delicious!
