A: Pours a mildly hazy lemon yellow hue with 1 inch bubbly white head with good retention.
S: Mango cream, soft orange, sweet pineapple, and subtle sweet lemon.
T: Soft orange, mango cream, pineapple, peach, and soft melon and lemon.
M: Light-medium body. Soft and creamy feel. Layers of citrus and tropical fruit sweetness. Lingers nicely on the palate.
D: A nice, complex summer brew. Excellent hop expression.

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) light and hazy yellow color with a massive white head. SRM of 6. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange and lemon citrus, pineapple with some hints of mango underneath. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, lemon citrus, sweet papaya, cantaloupe melon and a ripe mango flavor underneath. (4.50)

Feel: Heavier-bodied, decent carbonation. Leans juicy and mildly sweet. (4.00)

Compared to BlackStack DDH SpongeBath 3/2023: Pours identical. Similar aromas. More juicy citrus, lemon, mango. Less sweet pineapple, cantaloupe, and melon. Slightly lighter and cleaner with a bit more citrus. Winner: Purely Decorative

Compared to BlackStack Aptitude Test 4/2023: Pours identical, milder aromas. More juicy citrus, lemon, pineapple, mango skin. Less dank, herbal, rich and sweet tangerine and mango. Overall similar mango flavor. Lighter and cleaner with more juice though. Dryer and cleaner. Winner: Purely Decorative.

Compared to Equilibrium Southern Lights 4/2023: Pours similar. Slightly sweeter aromas. More ripe tangerine, orange, sweet melon and mango. Less lemon citrus, creamsicle, and mango skins. Juicier and sweeter.

Compared to Black Stack Thread Count 4/2023: Pours similar, slightly darker, similar head. Milder aromas. Less green flavors of papaya, lime citrus, guava, pineapple. More juicy tangerine, juicy pineapple, orange, and melon/mango. Slightly sweeter, juicier, and heavier.

Compared to EQ Cosmic Proportions 4/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Similar aromas. More ripe orange and pineapple. Less orange cream, grape, and apple flavors. Similar sweetness and flavor. Juicier, but less creamy.

Compared to Toppling Goliath Electric Dino Boogie 4/2023: Pours lighter, similar head. Milder aromas. More juicy orange, papaya, mango. Less smooth orange, creamsicle, cantaloupe melon, peach. Juicier and sweeter.

Compared to BlackStack Wedding Season 5/2023: Pours darker, milder head. Milder aromas. More papaya, melon, mango. Less juicy OJ and pineapple juice. More balanced and less juicy/DDH.

Compared to Junkyard Vince Vega 6/2023: Pours lighter, similar head. Milder aromas. More juicy grapefruit and mango. Less creamy orange, tangerine, white peach. Juicier and less creamy.

Compared to BlackStack Meat Raffle 6/2023: Pours similar, milder aromas. More tropical melon and berry sweetness. Less citrus, pineapple, mango, but was much better when fresh.
7/2023: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More tropical pineapple, green mango. Less tangerine, sweet melon. Juicier and more flavors.

Overall: A well-made NEIPA once again. Shows the El Dorado and Strata nicely with the juicy orange, pineapple, and mango notes. Not sure what the Luminosa adds but nevertheless this one drinks extremely well. Juicy orange, pineapple, and mango. Citrusy, but also tropical. Not too heavy and drinks extremely well. One of the best I've had from Black Stack in a bit. (Rating: 4.27)
