16oz can. No dating information found.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head with the pour, and this very slowly settles to an interrupted cap and ring. Leaves behind spots and short strings of lacing, but not extensive coverage.
Aroma of mango and pencil eraser. Smells more sweet than bitter.
Taste is very ripe fruit sweet, and this does not fade to any extent. Flavors of mango, pineapple, lemon, and tangerine. Just a brief moment of dank bitterness. Aftertaste is full of hop fruitiness, and sweet.
More than medium mouthfeel. Each sip briefly stings the tongue, and then finishes with a sweet vegetal hop presence. Somewhat soft texture, and lingering. Good carbonation.
Over-the-top hop domination that brings ripe fruit sweetness to a high degree with each sip. Higher ABV% is felt, and contributes to the moderate struggle to enjoy and finish the glass contents. Still too green, just too much overripe fruit, or an intentional challenge to the palate?
