Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (20% clarity) light to medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit citrus and ripe mango flesh, mango skins. Some orange sweetness underneath.
Flavor: Strong flavors of grapefruit citrus, lemon zest, just a pineapple, the strong mango skin flavor underneath.
Feel: Heavier-bodied, average carbonation, slightly tart, madly sweet, clean.
Compared to BlackStack Enter the Dragon 8/2023: Pours darker, stronger aromas. More mango skins and grapefruit. Less tropical tangerine.
Overall: Pleasant NEIPA here from Blackstack that showcases the Strata well. Nice grapefruit to support a predominate mango skin flavor. Not the highest reviews that I had read. Still, loving that Strata hop intensified with the Citra. Nice combination. It has all the grapefruit, pineapple zest, and mango skin flavors of Strata with just enough citrus and sweetness to support it. (Rating:

From a 16 oz can . Pours a hazy lemon wheat color with a white head . Smell is fruity and tropical . Taste has citrus wheat ,melon and berries. Mouth feel is more dry than sweet. Blackstack falling behind on its new brews , would not recommend or buy again.
