Our hand selected and supremely decadent Citra gets friendly with all of the hops from New Zealand that we were finally able to select for the first time this year: Nelson, Sauvin, Riwaka, and Nectaron. Expect complex tropical juice and good times courtesy of one of our all time favorites and our new Southern Hemisphere buds. Come on down.

I got a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer whilst in St. Paul for my daughter's Wiac gymnastics conference championship. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank mango, guava, papaya, and pineapple. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with mellow semi sweet malt base with fresh rioe tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Poured from a can into a snifter. Pours deep orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of bright citrus and slight pine. Tastes of bright citrus and tropical fruit with slight pine. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

16oz can. No dating information found.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body. No more than a thin cap throughout the pour, and this becomes islands and a thin ring. Leaves behind small spots and short strings of lacing.
Aroma is full but faint, with smells of citrus and pineapple.
Taste is a blooming blast of flavor that lasts for a considerable time through the aftertaste. Flavors are sweet - lemon, lime, orange, pineapple, papaya, and a touch of apricot.
More than medium mouthfeel, with a syrup texture. Bitterness is low but what is there does a good balance with the fruity hops. Okay carbonation.
Sweet, but not too sweet. Drinks sublime and inspired.
